I am using both landscape and portrait layouts in a large document. On the
portrait pages, my page number is in the upper right hand corner. However,
when I have a page in the layout format, I need the page number to look just
like the ones on the portrait pages. So, if I was paging through the
document (in a book), the landscape page will be turned to the left and the
page number needs to be in the upper right hand corner.
In the Word Document, I need to get the landscape page number in the bottom
right hand corner, but turned so that it is legible when put into the book.
Can you anyone help me with that?

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/LandscapeSection.htm And yes, it's
way too much trouble; MS is aware of the need to be able to do this with a
single click.
