I have inserted page numbering into my document as a footnote. They display
correctly on print preview but when I print the document they are 3 inches
above the bottom of the page, help!

Footnote or footer?
How did you insert the page number? Not, I hope, by using Insert > Page
Number.
Which version of Word are you using?

I did use the footer to insert the page numbers, I'm using Word 2002.

Thanks,
