MS Office Forum / Word / Page Layout / April 2005Equations & Drawings in Normal View
(Newbie to the Word groups, hope this is the right place) In Word 2002 SP-1, when I'm in Normal View, equations and drawings show up as empty boxes. Under Tools/Options, in the "View" tab, I have made sure to clear the "Draft Font" checkbox (actually it was never on) but the problem persists. tia, Nitzan "Picture placeholders" is the box you want to be sure is clear. Note that in Normal view you still won't see any pictures that are floating (not in-line) or any text boxes -- but they wouldn't have shown even as empty boxes when picture placeholders are turned on. Cheers, Nitzan Well, even though they are really OT, most TOC questions seem to get asked in the word.tables NG, so there's usually a fair amount of TOC discussion there.
