Have previously changed the default page margins on our computer to 1.0cm for
top/ bottom/ left/ right, gutter is 0cm and header/footer are 1.25cm.
Trying to revert back to original margins but a Microsoft message keeps on
saying the "increase in the right margins is causing the column to become
uneven" and won't let me proceed. Also paper size keeps reverting to "Letter"
from "A4" selection, even if selection for only current document and
certainly won't accept a "default" change request for the paper size.
The reason for the original change is due to the paper continuing to select
"Letter" instead of A4 and I have checked Regional setups, we are in Metric
and can't work out why I can't change measurements. Please help, if you can.
Thanks, Karen

Go to Format | Columns, make sure "Whole document" is selected, and select
the One picture (even if it appears to be selected already). This checks the
"Equal column width" check box (which may not be checked by default) and
should solve the problem.
