I need to put a text from over 255 characters in the Header/Footer of a Word
or Excel file which is not allowed.
How can I overcome this problem?
thanks, roland

There is no limit to the amount of text (or anything else) you put in the
header of a Word document. There may well be a limit in Excel (which handles
headers differently), but this is a Word NG.

There's no limit to the text in a Word header or footer, provided you don't
overflow the page.
