Word would prompt to disable or enable macros if security setting has been
set to medium.
If all macros in a particular document have been deleted, Word still prompts
to disable/enable macros when that document is opened. How can a document
really be cleared of any macro so to avoid being prompted when opened ??
Thanks
Steve

Do you have add-ins? Have you set security to trust installed templates and
add-ins?

It can't. This is a setting that stays set once triggered. You can copy the
content to a new document using copy and paste.

Use File > Save As to save in RTF format. Then open the RTF file, and
save that back to Word format. The remains of the macro will be gone.
