MS Office Forum / Word / Page Layout / June 2005Why doesn't my left ruler show a shaded area?
My horizontal ruler gives me a grey area to move left or right, but my vertical ruler has no shaded are and I cannot find a way to return it to the bar. Can you help me? Can you help me? Are you ion Print Layout View? It sounds like you have hidden the White Space (area between the top/bottom margins and the edge of the page). Move your pointer to the edge of the page & when you see the tip box that says Show White Space, click there.
