Hello,
My table of contents is a numbered list. A sample line looks like this:
2.3.2.1 text1 text1 text1.....45
What should I do when the heading (above heading is the "text1 text1 text1"
part)
is so long that it should really take two lines? In other words, I don't
want it to look like
2.3.2.2 text2 text2 text2a text2
text2 text2...............48
I want it to look like this -
2.3.2.2 text2 text2 text2a
text2 text2 text2.......48
However, if I press "enter" after "text2a", it screws up the numbering below
that point...
Thank you for your kind help.

Try Shift+Enter, Sam. That's the quick and dirty workaround. I'd rather see
you shorten your heading! :)

Modify the relevant TOC style to have a right indent. Leave the right tab at
the right margin, but add enough of a right indent to generously clear the
longest page number (usually 0.5"-1").
