How do I make Word 2000 open in full screen view

Hi, Everytime I open wird it comes up in the minimized format, how can I make
it come up in the full screen format? Thanks in advance for your help. Stan

Stan,
Normally if you close Word full screen, it will open up full screen the next
time.
If it does not you can right click the shortcut which opens Word and choose
properties, next to run choose maximized.
Not sure but I also seem to remember that when you press down the shift key
when you close Word it would keep track of the state the window was in when
you closed it.
