Due to a hard disc failure I re-installed Microsoft Office 2000.  Now when I
use Tables in Word and try to grey out the table grids using Borders and
Shading - None, the grids disappear completely.  As I use them for labels
they are important to me and I can find no way of retaining them greyed out.
Please help.

John,
Go to Table - select show gridlines. This setting is application based, not
document-specific, so whatever you set upon quitting Word will be in effect
the next time you open Word.
