All of a sudden, I open a new WORD document -- the cursor blinks at the very
top edge of the page.  Margins are set correctly (1" top etc.).  When I view
the print preview, it looks fine.  I (or my kids!) must have clicked
something that caused this to happen because I've never seen it before.  It's
frustrating because the type begins at the very top edge of page and I can't
figure out spacing unless I select print preview.  HELP!?!

Sounds like someone has clicked the Hide White Space option, just put your
mouse at the top of the defined page and when you see the double headed arrow
clcik to Show White Space. HTH
