unwanted header shading

i just got a new computer at work and the stationary i was useing now has
grey shading in it that was not there before.  how do i get rid of the
shading.  i have no fill so and when i go to print preview there is no
shading but when i actually print there is grey shading.

Shading could indicate that the text is a field, but the field shading
should not print (and even if it were going to, it should be displayed in
Print Preview).
