What i want to do should be simple. I have a Word 2003 document that has a
cover page and a table of contents page. I want to begin numbering at 1
after the first 3 pages. I have tried section breaks without success because
Word automatically numbers the first section also.
Is there an easy solution to this?
Word does not automatically number anything unless you tell it to do so in
some way. Generally, if you have already inserted page numbering and then
add a section break, Word will assume that you want to keep the numbering in
both sections. You can certainly change this.
