MS Office Forum / Word / Page Layout / December 2005Page Marks
In the four corners of my blank word document, there are four gray colored, "L" shaped markers. They line up with the margin indicators and move left and right when I move the margin markers. they appear to indicate where text will appear on the page while I type. These marks appeared one day when i accidentally hit some keys on my keyboard. I cannot find the name for these marks or how to toggle them on and off. The Text boundaries box was unchecked. when i check it, it draws a square perimeter between the earlier mentioned marks. When i go to Microsoft Office Tools under programs and choose Microsoft Office XP Language Settings, I get the error message: This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verfy that this is a valid Windows Installer Package.
