My margins are fine for all of the material that I input but the size of the
paper on my screen is not 8.5 by 11. It looks like it is 9 inches or so wide
and all of the "extra" paper is on the right. I have compared it side by side
with other documents but I cannot find the button or setting that is
different. I do not have any objects that I know of outside of the margins.
Could there be a hidden cell? My document is about 100 pages.
Thanks

Are you tracking changes?

No I am not. When I load the document for the first couple of seconds it
is the right size and then it "grows" as if I had some kind of zoom button on
the paper that makes it go outside the margins.

I went into the "View" column and clicked on "Markup" and the paper returned
to normal! It must have something to do with what you suggested because when
I typed in "markup" under help ... tracking changes came up. I still don't
understand it but.... it's back to normal

Thanks!

If you are tracking changes or insert a comment, the default view is Final
Showing Markup, which allows an extra-wide margin to accommodate the
"balloons."
