Line Spacing changes in document after emailing

I have created a document in Word XP 2002.  When I email it to fellow
employee's extra lines, page breaks and general spacing problems occur.  When
they send it back to me, it looks perfect and prints perfectly.  Any idea's
as to what is happening?
