Documents open with "Markup" Viuw activated - how do I stop?

All of a sudden, I have "Markup" activated every tiem I open a doucment ...
incouding blan knew ones ... and I can't figure outn how to avoid this ... it
si a royal pain when I try to print, since it screws up my page layout to
allow room for the balloons.

How do I avoid this?

If this is also happening in new documents, then it sounds as if "Track Changes"
has somehow become active in the Normal.dot template. You need to find that
template, open it, make sure "Track changes" is turned off, and then make sure
you're accepted/rejected and changes stored in it. Save and close, restart Word.
