I am trying to indent just one paragraph in a document (a quote), while
leaving the rest of the document alone. Every time I do it, Word insists on
indenting everything below the targeted paragraph.

Can someone tell me what I am doing, or not doing? Thanks!

Under Format>Styles, for the style that you are using, make sure that the
Automatically Update box is unchecked.
