Can anyone help please.
When I add an element to the footer it appears in some sort of code,
but prints as expected.
e.g. A Path of D:\MyDocuments\Training\FooterFormat.doc page 1 of 1
appears on screen as
{FILENAME/p}Page{PAGE}pf{NUMPAGES}.
I'm using Word 2000 on NT ver4.
Any help would be very much appreciated. Kind regards Bernard

On the Print tab of Tools | Options (*not* the View tab), clear the check
box for "Field codes."
