I am writing my thesis table of contents and the page description (ex. Need
for the Study) is left justified with periods.........across the page to the
page number. I cannot get the page numbers exactly all right justified and
lined up with each other. If I try to right justify the page number, then
the whole line moves over. Any help would be appreciated!

An automatic table of contents (see
http://www.ShaunaKelly.com/word/toc/CreateATOC.html) would do all this for
you, but if you insist on doing it manually, you need a right tab with a
period leader; see http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/SettingTabs.htm.
