Add Tabs for word

Working in word it would be very helpful if you could add tabs or worksheets
like exel software, so that different chapters or days of a jounal entry
could be easily accessed on one file. Is this feature available or possible ?

Not possible now, not likely ever to be. Have you tried using heading styles
and the Document Map?
