How do I change measures of pictures from inches to centimeters?

I can´t find the way to set the measures in my documents and pictures
inserted in Word from inches to centimeters. Can anyone help. Thank you

Thank you Stefan, however I am using the Word XP Pro 2007 beta 2, which does
not have the Tools/options resource. That is why I can not convert the
measures.

It would have helped if you had mentioned Word 2007 to begin with.
There are so many differences that knowing the version is crucial.

Click the Office logo to open the File menu. Click the Word Options
button on the bottom edge of the menu. In the Options dialog, click
the Advanced tab, then scroll down to the Display section. The setting
for measurement units is there.
