I am sure I am being ignorant but how do I set line spacing in Word 2007? I
can do it each time I open Word but it reverts once I close and reopen.

On the Styles chunk of the Home tab, use the pulldown to select the Normal
Style, right click on it and select Modify then change the paragraph
formatting and check the radio button for "New documents based on this
template" on the Modify Style dialog.
