Can you print to the edges of the paper in a document that has been created
in Word (using a commercial printer)? I can't see a way to at the moment - if
possible, would it be a page set-up or printer set up?

You would have to use a printer that supports zero margins.
Alternatively, print on large paper, and then cut the sheets to the
desired size—so that any white space will be removed.

Thanks Stefan - I'm sure a commercial printer will be able to do this then.
And they will definitely be able to print on larger paper, at least!
