This feature, if it still exists, is well hidden in Word Beta 2.  I can't
seriously use Word without it and have had no luck for months in finding it.
It's the feature that allows a user to see what style is being used.

Hi Fabian,

Word options > Advanced > Display

You find the Word options under the Office button (top left).
As in previous versions, you only see the style area in Draft (formerly
Normal) and Outline View.

Word 2007 renamed Normal View?  What a stroke of genius!  Large amounts of
confusion swept away with one minor shift.

Did they perchance rename Normal.dot too?

As a matter of fact, they did! It's now Normal.dotm. <grin>

I guess that doesn't help with confusion, eh?
