Hyperlinks show as {HYPERLINK "mailto: x@y.com"} not blue underln

How do I change the display of hyperlinks in all my documents back to the
blue underlines?

Press Alt+F9 to toggle from field codes to field results.

And if Jay's suggestion doesn't help, then in Word click on Tools
| Options | View tab | uncheck the boxes for "All", "Hidden
text", and "Field codes" | Print tab | uncheck the "Hidden text"
and "Field codes" boxes | OK.
