When I take a printout from Word, I need to take the same on a custom defined
page.

When I select the printer and then the page properties and the page size, I
do not find the option to custom select the page size. I have a similar
option at another friends place and can use this option there ? Wonder what I
need to install or configure to get the custom page size option.

Whenever you enter measurements that are different from one of the standard
page sizes offered (which depend on the printer, not Word), Word will define
it as a "Custom" size. Is this what you mean? If not, perhaps you are asking
how to define custom paper sizes in the printer driver? If so, note that the
printer Properties presented through Control Panel | Printers will often be
more extensive than those presented when you click Properties... in Word's
Print dialog.
