Hello,

First I'll tell you how my situation is : my word document works with
heading 1 (chapter) and a footer. So I want that you can see on every page
in the footer in which chapter you are. So actually I'm wondering how i can
link heading 1 with a footerpart.

Much thanks

Jonathan

Insert a { styleref } field in the footer.

As g-n-o suggests, a StyleRef field will do this for you. See Word's Help
topic "Field codes: StyleRef field" and
http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/StyleRef.htm.
