On my old computer with MS works when I printed a
document a small print status box appeared in the bottom
rt. hand corner of the screen with a picture of a printer
showing the no of pages to be printed, the time to print,
a horizontal bar chart across a page showing how the
print was progressing and most usefully an abort button.
This is not present on my MS word and excel programmes.
How can I display this very useful feature.
