When I print a Word document out of Word XP to a HP
LaserJet 4000 or 4050TN printer, Word will change the
bottom margin of the document to 2.63" and it will not
print anything below that.  I must save the document,
reopen Word and try again.  Sometimes it works and other
times it doesn't.  When I send the document to a
different printer, I have no problems and it prints
fine.  It seems to only affect these 2 HP Laserjets, but
it seems to be an issue with Word, because when I have
one of these printers selected, Word changes the margin
and I can see in Print Preview that the margin has been
changed to exactly 2.63".  Thank you.

There is a known conflict between Word 2002 and the HP drivers for certain
LaserJets (including those you mention). Many users have reported that the
"margin fix" drivers at http://www.hp.com/pond/ljbeta/index.html solve the
problem.

Thank you very much for your message.  It has solved a
problem we've been working on for over a year.
