How can I get an "almost equal to" sign in a word
document? I would prefer an "=" sign with a "~" directly
above it, but would settle for 2 "~" one above the other.
I usually use the Times New Roman, but would use whatever
it takes to get that symbol.

I have searched the chatacter map, but could not find
anything that helped. I thought that there would be
a "alt+XXXX" type command to give me what I need.

Thanks for the help

2248 is a symbol for "approximately equal to," but the one Ken asked for is
also available in the Symbol dialog (character 0064).

That's the one I was looking for. Symbol is one of the few
fonts I didn't check.

Thanks, again.........
