Document printing off the page to the right

For some reason when I print (HP1100 Laser Jet) using MS Word 2003 SP1 some
documents print half the page (it is shifted to the right and cutoff by about
40-50%)

The best way to describe the problem is, it would appear (after printing)
that the left margin starts in the middle of the page, and the rest of the
page gets cutoff on the right.

This doesnt happen on ALL documents, and the page layout/margins, etc look
good. I reinstalled the print driver as well, from HP's website.

It only happens when I print to my local HP1100 printer.

The problem is sporadic, as it happens only sometimes. If it isn't working,
and the document is reopened, SOMETIMES that will fix the problem. Obviously
it's not fixing anything it is just allowing it to print correctly. This
workaround only works 10% of the time.

If it happens only sometimes and only with one printer, I would be looking
to the printer driver (and not Word) for a solution. For a start, make sure
you're feeding the paper where the printer is expecting to find it.

I used both printer drivers, MS and HP.

There is one input on a HP1100 so it is taking the paper fine.

What I meant was that you are feeding the paper where the printer is
printing. For smaller paper sizes, for example, some printers expect the
paper to be on the left, some on the right, some in the center.

Suzanne,

Where it is taking the paper is set to default nothing there was changed. If
you close and reopen the document it prints fine sometimes. It also only
happens on the HP1100 Laserjet local printer, not the network printers. I
updated to their latest printer driver and that didn't seem to the fix the
problem. I'm assuming there is nothing I can do at this point because it may
be a problem with the print driver.
