I have a 7-page mail-merge document. My merges typically involve 20 or more
recipients.
The first page of each merged section is supposed to be printed on
letterhead, with the rest of the pages on plain paper.
I need to find a way to print just page 1 from each section, then print
pages 2-7 from each section.
I know that you can use p1s1, p1s2, ... p1sX (where X is the last section
number), but this method is a royal pain when you have 20+ sections to pull
from.
Does anyone know of a more efficient way to do this?

If you set the page layout of your merge source document to print the first
and subsequent pages from different bins (paper tab) this *should* carry to
the merged document; however the success of this will depend on the printer
driver. An alternative plan for PCL printers is to use PRINT fields to
address the printer bins directly from the document.
