Phenix American is a commercial, copyrighted font available from Agfa
Monotype and other good sources. It is not free.

Anna is a similar font by Anna Morelli. It is available from Linotype
and other good sources.

It is also a commercial, copyright font and not free.

I have seen shareware fonts that are similar. Alas, names escape me at
the moment. Many links to font sites here

and on Microsoft's typography pages.

Strictly speaking, it's the font *file* that is copyright. It's a quirk of
legal history that there is no copyright on typeface designs. It's quite
legal to create your own font file using an existing design. (Easier to buy
it, though!)

Quite correct. Although, to be even "more correct" [I can picture a few
of my past English teachers doing flip-flops in their graves at that
one] or to attempt greater assurance (choose your own description ;-))
it is the font programme as contained in the font file that is
copyright. I usually type 'copyright font file' or similar. This time,
laziness overtook me.

Some fonts are also covered by design patents.

Truly, the Legal status of font, font file, and other related matters is
confudes [sic] and confussing [sic]. This is especially true in the U.S.
of A.

All the best.

Tom

Thanks for the links, I did indeed find one quite similar called
"institution" that will work quite well.
