I don't have Gill Sans font installed
Is there a way of automatically translating the text into Arial or some
other font of my choice

Regards & TIA

If a font, say Gill Sans is specified for certain text in a Word document
and that font is not installed on the system, another font will be
substituted. You can specify the font for Word to use for that particular
document.

Open the document. Navigate to     Tools     Options     Compatibility
Font Substitution. Scroll down the list of fonts on the left and then
click the obvious bar and select the font you want to use. In order to
shown on the list, the desired font must be installed on the Windows
system first if not already present.

You can set the change in the document to be temporary or permanent.

Let us know.
