Hello.  A friend of mine has a strange problem.  Word 2002, Word Pad and
Notepad on her laptop all won't print fonts in black.  Her printer (HP
DeskJet 832) works fine for other app like Internet Explorer, and a test
print prints black fonts correctly.  If you select the text in a new document
and change the color, it will print.  But if you make the color RGB 0,0,0.
It prints a blank page.  So I told her to print everything 80% Grey until I
could find out what was wrong.  Does anyone out there have an idea why this
is happening?  It's probably something trivial, but I couldn't fix it.

Thanks in advance,

Karl

Hi, I have the very same problem!  Help.  will you let me know what to do
when you find out or have solved your friends problem.  I've done the 80%
gray also and the print test.  I need to get it working.
