Font Id. Help needed

Hi,

Can you help me? I must identify this font:
http://www.eukles.com/untitled.jpg

The text was printed in 1989, and it looks like Times New Roman.

I don't think so. Look at the l in "renouvelant" -- the top serif is
horizontal, but in TNR it's angled. The g of "distingues" has its
lower loop joining the step at an angle, in TNR it joins more
horizontally.

(At least, that's true of the TNR that comes with Word.)

Sorry, I can't tell you what font it is, but I'd lay odds it's not
TNR.

It is quite similar to a Janson. Sabon (available from Adobe, Linotype,
and others) is worth considering as a match.
