Google turned up about 18000 hits for Palladius.
That said, it appears to be a straighforward copy of the Palatino font
that's included with Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Office 2003.

Sorry - I ignored the obvious and forgot that MS was now including the
four basic Palatino faces from Linotype.

Palladius is MGI's version of Palatino and was included with MGI
Products (PhotoSuite?) around 1997. MGI licensed a package of fonts
from Monotype about that time, this may be one of them.
Monotype's Book Antiqua is another well-known Palatino clone. It is
included with at least the following Microsoft Products:
Access 2000, Access 97 SR2, Excel 2000, FrontPage 2000, Greetings 99,
Home Publishing 99, Office 2000 Premium, Office 4.3 Professional,
Office 97 Small Business Edition SR2, Office 97 SR1a, Office
Professional Edition 2003, Outlook 2000, PhotoDraw 2000, Picture It!
2000, Picture It! 2002, Picture It! 98, Plus 95, PowerPoint 2000,
Publisher 2000, Publisher 97, Publisher 98, TrueType Font Pack,
