Duplex printing only one page in a document

I've searched forums, I've fiddled with print settings....
I want to know how to print a document that is one-sided EXCEPT for one
page right in the middle that needs to be 2-sided. I'm working in Word
2002 and my office has a duplex printer. Under Page Setup it seems I
should be able to apply duplex printing to a section, so I've inserted
this one page as a section, however no matter what I do, when I try to
apply duplex printing to just this section, it applies it to the whole
document. Is this easier than it seems?

Simplex/duplex applies to the whole document, so you'll need two print runs:
one for the simplex pages and one for the duplex section. A little tedious
for you perhaps, but it's a fairly arcane requirement.

No, it's not. A REAL kludgy solution might be to create a full-page
blank graphic in between every page (except the one you WANT
double-sided) and then duplex the whole document.

Another way might be to break up your document into three separate
documents (not sections) and write a script or macro that would always
print them as a group, in the proper sequence.

Or of course, what you're probably already doing - printing one-sided,
then manually creating the one double-sided page - maybe with a copyer

:) and manually inserting the page...
