Sounds like those fonts aren't in the Student version edition :(
Or you can look in all the cab files on the disk .. but I don't think
you'll find them. You might try writing to MS and pleading ..
Perpetua is available from may other foundries, and some equivalent
fonts are:
Lapidary 333 (Bitstream)
Compleat (WSI/IMSI/SSK/SSI - discredited clones)
Peru (Primafonts)
P700 Roman (Softmaker)
Persistent (Softmaker)
Bronte (SWFTE)

I have more informaion.
I am having the same problem with a different font (Copperplate Gothic). I
have three machines running MS Office Home and Student 2007 - Word. One has
both problem fonts (Perpetua and C.G.) and about 4x as many fonts overall.
The other two have the paired down list without these two fonts.
Two of these three computers were loaded with the DVD. Only one of the two
has these fonts. The two computers are a notebook running Vista x86 Home
Premium and a desktop running Vista x64 Ultimate. Only the notebook has
these fonts.
The third computer is runing XP MCE 2005 with the downloaded trial version
of Office Home and Student 2007. It does not have these fonts.
So, in at least one case, the Student version does support these fonts.
Any luck finding where the divergence is?
