how do I enable MOSTL smart tag recognizers

I am pushing MOSTL smart tag recognizers to my users, but they are always
disabled until enabled individually. I am unable to find any combination of
registry tweaking to automatically enable them.

Any ideas?

To answer my own question, I used the SmarttagRecognizers collection of the
application object to enable my new recognizers with a vba macro that runs
at Word startup.
