I am not actually sure which forum to post this on, as it is an issue
that crosses applications.

Essentially, we have had a database developed for our organization that
is web-based, and includes the grand feature of generating mailing
labels for us in a couple of Avery formats. The output is in MSWord.

Because they are created through Internet Explorer, a couple of the
normal MSWord controls are disabled, one being the aspect that
restricts cell sizes in tables. In a normal mail merge document - e.g.
Excel/Word - when the data extends past the viewable area of the
'label' or cell, the text wraps beyond and the cell retains its
dimensions. Through Internet Explorer though, it treats it as HTML (I
believe) and ignores the fixed dimensions of the cell and expands it
for every extra line of text.

Needless to say, we cannot use this and the developers have not offered
a solution. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? What was
the resolution? If this is not the correct forum, please direct me to
the appropriate place to post this.
