We are receiving a response html file from a partner that is not xhtml-
compliant - there are many places where there are <li> and <br> start
tags that do not have proper matching end tags.

When I try to open these files in Word 2007, I get errors about
improper end tags, etc. It seems that by default, Word doesn't want to
open non xhtml-compliant html.

Our goal is to be able to combine this response html file to another
Word document that we already produce, programmatically. But the first
step I need to be able to do is to just get Word to open the file.

Is there some option I can use to tell word to open a transtional html
file, rather than an xhtml-compliant file? I've been digging through
Word options, but haven't found something to do this yet...
