Word 2002 formfield ref to bookmark

I am using a field which references a bookmark. The font size for the
bookmark is 18pt. The font size for the field is 12pt.

If the bookmark contains one word, the field, after updating, remains
12pt. If the bookmark contains two or more words, the field, after
updating, remains 12pt for the first word then changes to 18pt for the
remainder of words in the bookmark.

Is there a switch I can use in the Field Ref that, when updating the
field, will retain the assigned 12pt field font size? Or how do I keep
the font size setting in the field from changing when updating the
field?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Alan

Add a \* charformat switch to the field and apply the desired formatting to
the R of REF.
