How do you change the default file location when saving
documents.  I am using word 97 and Win2000 Prof.  I am
using a template to sent out form letters and on my old pc
when I clicked Save As it would save it in the same folder
as the template and all other files were saved in the
folder in which they were opened from unless otherwise
specified.  On my new PC it wants to save everything in My
Documents and I would like for it to save into the folder
that it came from.  Any suggestions are greatly
appreciated.

Hi Klowe,

From the Tools menu, select Options and then go to the File Locations tab
and modify the location.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
