Whenever I try to open a word document...a pop up screen
appears with the following message:

Microsoft Word for Windows has encountered a problem and
needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
...please tell microsoft about this problem.
...We have created an error report that you can send to
help us to improve Microsoft Word for Windows. .....
send report.....yes

And then when I send the report nothing happens and I go
back to open a word document again.

I have tried to re-install Microsoft Word 2000sr-1 from
Microsoft Worksuite 2001, the original software that came
with the pc but nothing happens.

Anybody can tell me please what to do?
