Word 2000 Wont install

Ok people, please help. I recently bought a new computer,
it did not have word 2000 in it. I have the disk for the
program and the cd key. Everytime i try to install it
into my system, it get an error message and it wont fully
load. Any ideas as to what is wrong with it. Please email
me with any answers that i may find useful. thank you!!!!!
