Is is possible to change various default settings of MS Office 2003
programs over a network?

The situation is a LAN with about 100 PCs all running WinXP Pro, all on
the same domain, all with Office 2003 Pro.  We would like to change some
of the default settings in Word & Excel.  Is is possible to "push" those
changes over the network rather than having to make them at each
individual PC?  Are there some settings that can be changed over the
network and others that can't?

Maybe there are some Group Policy objects you can use. Check the Office site
for Group Policy templates
