Thanks, Doug, I know that works (also in Word 2007), but I was trying to save
my templates as 'trusted' in my own (network-)area (instead of Microsoft's or
any other local area). Now, the only way to select these templates from the
network is from >Office >New >My templates (and I'm seeing the 'old' user
interface, where the new look would be preferable ;-).
Any more suggestions?

The Workgroup Templates Folder is not Microsoft's. It can be anywhere that
you want it to be - your own (network) area included.
