I have a document that had ~100 tables througout, with the
caption numbering starting at 1.  When I moved all the
tables to the end of the document (and deleting the
original tables and captions), the caption numbering
starts at 55.   How do I get the numbering to start at 1
again ?

TIA.

Hi, MadDog.  Accept all tracked changes, then select all (Ctrl+A) and update fields (F9).

I tried to Ctrl+A and F9, but it doesn't work.  I also
right clicked, and the "Update Field" choice is grayed out.

Any other suggestions?

TIA

OOPS, it did work.  I had to update the table again to see
the new table numbers.  Thanks.
